It is great for those without a lot of time and want to see everything Nepal can be. You’ll see mountains, lakes, valleys, waterfall, cultural and spiritual aspects of Nepal along with its splendid nature.
Our representative is going to pick you up at the airport and brief you along the way to your hotel.
Go see the famous monkey temple (Swayambhunath), Bouddhanath (one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world), Pashupatinath ( a sacred Hindu temple where you might get to see Nepali funeral rites), and visit Thamel- a tourist hotspot in the middle of Kathmandu where there are a lot of bars and restaurants to choose from. Also visit Bhaktapur, or the “City of Devotees” for a glimpse of the past that still thrives. Spend the night in Nagarkot.
Enjoy the sunrise in Nagarkot. Drive for around six hours and get to the Chitwan National Park, a huge area dedicated to protecting nature. See many plants and animals here including the rhino, crocodiles, elephants, maybe even a tiger if you’re lucky.The hotel will arrange for you an elephant safari, a boat ride in crocodile-filled river, a jungle walk, and a visit to the Government’s Elephant Breeding Center.
Finish what you didn’t yesterday, this morning, have breakfast and ride to Lumbini in the morning. Lumbini is a great place for Buddhism worldwide. It is where Buddha was born. There are temples from different countries in this place. Visit the best ones, then go look at the historic temple, with 3rd Century ruins and a Bodhi Tree. Come back to Chitwan in the afternoon.
It’s about a five hour ride to Pokhara, a magnificent city with a lake in its center where you’ll be staying close to. In the afternoon, go see Devi’s Falls, an underground waterfall which is spectacular, especially during the monsoon season. Depending on the season, you can also go to a cave nearby and descend to see the waterfall up close. In the evening, go to the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist Stupa that overlooks the city of Pokhara and the Fewa Lake. The stupa is beautiful in itself and the view from this area is mesmerizing.
Wake up early in the morning to go see the sunrise from Sarangkot, a popular destination from where you can see beautiful Himalayan mountains up close. It is a sight to behold. Massive snowy peaks, green hills, and a great view of Pokhara on the other side make it a truly worthwhile experience. Go back to your hotel for breakfast. Spend the rest of the day you see fit, a boat ride, adventure sports, or just a lazy stroll along the lake, Pokhara offers many things.
Choose between a 25 minute ride and a 6-7 hour journey to Kathmandu and then drive about one and a half hours to get to Nagarkot. A cozy little village atop a hill surrounding the Kathmandu valley, Nagarkot offers great views of the Himalayas, including, from the right spot during the right weather conditions, a little bit of Mount Everest.
